{"id":1103,"date":"2010-12-24T20:49:46","date_gmt":"2010-12-24T20:49:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lyrehcworld.com\/blog\/?p=1103"},"modified":"2010-12-24T20:49:46","modified_gmt":"2010-12-24T20:49:46","slug":"the-power-of-determination-and-a-little-luck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/lyrehcworld.com\/blog\/index.php\/2010\/12\/24\/the-power-of-determination-and-a-little-luck\/","title":{"rendered":"The Power of Determination (and a little luck)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has been a rough couple of months.\u00a0 I am in the third year of my three year plan to pay off all of my old business debt, however, this requires about 90% of my income every month.\u00a0 I rely on side jobs and overtime for the miscellaneous stuff like when Lucas needs special shirts for the band concert for school, or when our electric bill is a bit higher than we expected, or doing some home renovations, or even if I just feel like having a beer.\u00a0 Side money and overtime is my gravy.<\/p>\n<p>These last two months the overtime was non-existent and the side jobs were slim to none.\u00a0 Even a couple of the hosting customers I have decided not to renew this year because their businesses are struggling.\u00a0 Then a week ago, a customer who we built a website for a few years ago emailed and asked for an overhaul.\u00a0 I was thinking, &#8220;Cool!
