30 More Days

30 more days!!!!!  Oh, my gosh!!!!  I cannot wait.  I am so tired.  I think I am going to sleep for a week.  I am definitely going to be quite intoxicated after graduation. hehehehe.
Yoga today was great.  I stayed up until 5:30am writing my research paper, and left for yoga at 7:15am.  Yes, I was definitely tired.  But I wrote two pretty good research papers and seemed to have pretty good balance in yoga today.  Now I am exhausted, but no rest for me.  I have a javaspaces environment to set up for my project for client/server class.  Ugh!!!  Soon.  It will be over.

Upcoming Graduation

Well, you can look at the countdown on my main page, but it is less than 38 days until graduation, and for the first time, since I was a baby, my mother and my father will be within a few yards of each other and proud of me at the same time.  Wow!!!  Ok, those of you who do not get it, this is just cool and freaky at the same time.  Scary and exciting at the same time.  Wow!!!  That is really all I can say about it at the moment.  Wow!!!

Happy Face

the guy who designed the happy face died today
He received $45 for it and never applied for trademark or copyright, so he made nothing more, even tho the industry has made millions off the happy face
pretty messed up!!!
always copyright your shit

School

Doing Java Servlets for a project for school.  This stuff is both fun and frustrating.  I wish I had more time to learn everything about it quicker.  But I am enjoying it.  I am also doing a project with secure e-commerce and digital signatures.  Plus I have a javaspaces presentation to put together, and a Lisp and Prologue program to write (yuck), and a bunch of work to do for my clients, which includes a couple of PHP sites and a huge bar code project for the air force base in Japan.  And I am still trying to hang on to some sort of social life.  Fun, fun, fun.  School will be finished in 56 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

School

Well, there are only 10 weeks left until I move back to Phoenix.  Time seems to be going both slow and fast.  Kind of strange.  School is weighing on me and I have tons of projects to do before I move.  Janet keeps asking me if I have started to pack yet.  I just cannot seem to get motivated for that just yet.  School is coming to a close, my life is about to begin.  Kind of a weird emotional rollercoaster thing, but I still feel somewhat content and centered at the same time.  Really weird.  I do not quite know what is happening.  I feel like I have matured and grown a whole decade (mentally) in the last year and a half.  It is crazy.  I am suddenly visualizing my short-term future more clearly and accurately than I ever have in my life.

Karate

Jacob and I both moved up to yellow belt 3rd degree on Sunday.  The new semester of karate begins this Sunday and the next step is orange belt.  woo hoo!!!

Phoenix Trip

I went to Phoenix this past weekend.  It was a nice trip and a badly needed time away.  I am moving back there when this semester ends.  I am graduating in June, and moving in July.  It will be so nice to be a Zoni again.  I moved to Cali seven years ago knowing that I would be back in Zoni someday.  I did not think it was going to take seven years, but oh well.  It has been fun.  I am going to miss the wonderful friends that I have made in Cali, but they will only be an ICQ away.

Moving Along

Another day of yoga.  Really liking it.  I still do karate on Sundays also.  We are having a tournament in March.  Maybe I will move up to Orange belt then.

This school semester is moving right along.  Less than 15 weeks until graduation.  I am almost there.  Bachelors of Science in Computer Science.  Not bad.  Only five and a half years of my life.  I am now 15 weeks away from finishing.

Yoga

Well, I started my first day of Yoga today.  Not bad.  I think I am going to like it.  Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:30am.  The early morning part is the only yucky part, but once I got there and started getting into it, it was great.  I feel pretty good right now.  It is going to be a good day.

Overload

I have been working a lot lately.  Seems I have an overload of projects from clients.  Hard to prioritize some days.  I am thinking that, if business keeps up like this, I might have to hire someone to assist me.  Now that would be some trick.  Not sure who I could work with.  I would need someone who is as motivated as I am, but who is also fun to be around.  Male?  Female?  Not sure.  There are pros and cons of each.  Both seem to get intimidated by me in working environments.  I think someone with a good graphics background would be great.  A hard-core code cruncher would be cool.  Definitely someone who is experienced with Unix, Linux, C, Perl, etc.  It would be nice to have a partner.  Anybody interested?  Drop me a line.
