Mark and I had a chance to catch the Dokken concert tonight in San Diego.  Pretty classic.

My sister, Risa, and her friend, Drew, and I went to the Violent Femmes concert at the Viejas Casino.  I remember jamming to Violent Femmes in high school while hanging out with Keith Handley.

Mark and I and his daughter went to the Creed concert.  I don’t know about you, but I love these guys live.

So, I just moved out of my husband’s house on January 1st, but we are spending a bunch of time together and things seem better than ever now that we are not living together.  We went to the Megadeth concert tonight at Canes in San Diego.   Very freaking cool!

I drove up to Las Vegas to hang out with my wonderful friend, Janet for New Years Eve (which by the way on the Last Vegas strip was freaking insane!).    The guy she is seeing had tickets to the Black Sabbath/Pantera concert and so we all went.

Those of you who know me well, know that I have been a huge Led Zeppelin fan since I was 12 (1982).  I would have loved to have been a teen-ager or older in the late 60’s and early 70’s but it didn’t work out that way.  However, after I first heard Led Zeppelin in 1982, I was hooked and quickly got all of their albums and listened religiously.  Since then, I have lost my mind on many occasions dancing to every song they ever did (including underground and bootleg stuff).  They are, by far, the best band ever to dance to and I can just close my eyes and lose myself in the music.  It is very epic.   When I heard the Page & Plant tour was coming to town, of course I had to go.  Mark and I got tickets and it was phenominal!

This guy is freaking amazing!! I love the guitar.  I can’t believe how awesome it is.  It all started when I heard his christmas album and I was hooked.  I am so glad I got to see him live!

Mark and I took a drive up to Hollywood to see Tool.  It was a fantastic night and a fantastic concert and he and I were very happy together.  He bought me a very cool long sleeve Tool shirt and things couldn’t have been more wonderful.

Well, it has been a hell of a four years and I haven’t been to any concerts until now.  I got married, had a baby, overcame the biggest challenge of my life, and now, am pregnant with my second child.  Mark got tickets to the Scorpions and it is so nice to go to a concert with him.  Of course, I am pregnant, so I can’t drink, but someday my child will be able to brag that he was at a Scorpions concert before he was even born!  That’s pretty cool!  The concert was fantastic and Mark and I couldn’t have been happier.

I am living down in Yuma now, but Mark and I and a couple of Mark’s friends, all took a drive up to Phoenix for this concert.  It was great, except Axel Rose was throwing some kind of temper tantrum and threatening not to do the show.  He finally decided to do the show, but it started way late.  There were tons of girls in the crowd sitting on their guys shoulders with their tops off, so I decided to show off my chest too.  That was fun.  I got a Guns N Roses G-String and we all got pretty trashed.  Fun times!!
