Julian

A bunch of us went up to Julian yesterday to play in the snow.  So many people were up there.  Amazing how a little snow attracts so many San Diegans.  On our way up to Julian, we stopped and had pie and hot cider and carmel apples and pumpkin spice bread and all kinds of really good stuff.  When we got to Julian, we found an empty parking lot at the local library and had a snow ball fight.  Lots of fun.  My sister managed to shove snow down my cleavage, I managed to nail her and her friends a couple times, but mostly my aim was off, I made a penis sculpture in the snow, and all in all we had a great time.  We sort of saw the sunset, but mostly missed it because it happened during the most intense part of our snow ball fight.

Club Xanth

Club Xanth was incredible last night.  I was not quite sure what to expect, but it was great.  The music, the atmosphere, seeing my friends, dancing so much that I was soaked with sweat by the end of the night, the fire dancers, twirlers, spinners, drummers, etc.  Oh, my gosh, the drummers were incredible!!!  I was truly impressed.  I had a great time.  It was so nice to see my friends…DivaLisa, CelaFire, Bruce, Juliana, and everyone else.  All my new friends…Great dancing with you all.  For all of you who missed it…sorry.

Overload

I have been working a lot lately.  Seems I have an overload of projects from clients.  Hard to prioritize some days.  I am thinking that, if business keeps up like this, I might have to hire someone to assist me.  Now that would be some trick.  Not sure who I could work with.  I would need someone who is as motivated as I am, but who is also fun to be around.  Male?  Female?  Not sure.  There are pros and cons of each.  Both seem to get intimidated by me in working environments.  I think someone with a good graphics background would be great.  A hard-core code cruncher would be cool.  Definitely someone who is experienced with Unix, Linux, C, Perl, etc.  It would be nice to have a partner.  Anybody interested?  Drop me a line.

Paths

We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere  –  Tim McGraw

Type O Negative

So, I went to the Type O Negative concert last night at Canes in Pacific Beach.  I went with my X, who is also my very best male friend.  He’s the guy who knows me inside and out.  Anyway, I met a girl there, also.  She was great.  I rarely meet girls that I can connect with, but there she was . I couldn’t believe how much we had in common.  The concert was great too, and afterward, we talked a bit, and then she had to go, because she had to get up early today, but we are planning on getting together soon.

Afterward, my X and I went to The Flame in Hillcrest.  That was great also.  More pretty women than I have seen in one place in a long time.  I danced among them, and it was like heaven!!

Burning Man Bon Fire

Went to the Burning Man bon fire Saturday.  Met a lot of really fun people.  Some people that I have only known in cyber space, and now I have a face to put to the name.  I saw a lot of old friends that I haven’t seen since the actual Burning Man event in August.  Going to these events is so wonderful.  These are the people that I feel most comfortable and at home with.

Everything

People always ask me how I can do so much.  I just do it.  The end result of just doing everything I want to do and accomplishing everything I want to accomplish, far out weighs the end result of quitting.

I want to learn everything, I want to know everything, I want to be everything.  I think I heard it in a song somewhere…heheh
